A Bluntline bus heading to Purgatory
Bluntline is a bus company. It has at least one bus line that goes through Purgatory, a city near the Canada–United States border. Wynonna Earp boarded one of these buses to return to her hometown for her uncle's funeral. Near the city's limit, one of the tires went flat, and while the driver figured out what happened, one of the passengers, Kiersten Lesko, left the bus to relieve herself in the woods. Roaring sounds and screaming scared the driver and passengers into leaving without her, but not before Wynonna left to search for her.
