In Landslide, he arrives in Purgatory for Poker Spectacular and meets up with Judge Cryderman in front of Shorty's. He lets the judge know that he'll be heading to his motel room to relax a little. He notes the dirt in it and opens up his briefcase full of money before heading towards the bathroom, while also noticing blood on the door. He opens the door and sees two women, Jolene and Cora, with blood all over, hypnotizing him in the process. The two lay him on the bed as Jolene begins biting into him, spraying blood and leaving Stokes to scream as Cora takes his briefcase full of money. His body is later seen being hung up on a rack by the twins and Jolene had been feeding on him as she is walked in on by Wynonna.
