Edwin Earp was the Grandfather of modern Earp Sisters (Wynonna, Waverly and Willa). Wynonna referred to him as the 'One year Wonder' stating that he was only the heir for 11 months, but almost killed all 77 Revenants. This is perhaps why he was described as being ambitious by Jack of Knives.
