Bulshar Clootie

Bulshar Clootie was a recurring character in Season 2 and Season 3 of Wynonna Earp.

Biography[]

Clootie was a powerful demon from the beginning of time. He was originally a snake who tempted Eve and Adam in the Garden of Eden. The angels Julian and Juan Carlo witnessed humanity flourish only to be tempted and fall by Bulshar. Bulshar was exiled from the garden and forced to live among humans.

He became the sheriff of Purgatory in the late 1800s, around the time of Wyatt Earp. He was a feared and malevolent force until Wyatt came to stop him. When Wyatt killed Clootie's two sons, he cursed Wyatt and his descendants. Not long after, one of his wives Constance teamed up with Juan Carlo and Robert Svane to seal away Clootie and capture his other two wives. Once the Widows were freed, they worked to break the three seals around Purgatory and free their husband.

History[]

Season 2[]

In I Hope You Dance, teaming up with Robert Svane turned revenant "Bobo", who breaks the third seal for the Widows and leads them to where Clootie was moved to, an old mine which lies on ground consecrated to the Assiniboine tribe. After the seals were broken Clootie awakened but was not strong enough to escape. His wives along with Bobo came to him but were betrayed by the Mercedes widow who chopped off his hand with an ax and left them buried underground. Beth was able to escape and Bobo made a deal with Clootie by planning on giving Clootie a pure soul, Waverly Earp. Clootie grants Bobo more power but he was defeated by Doc Holiday and Jeremy Chetri.
