Hypnos is a Sandman Demon and minor character in Season 2 of Wynonna Earp. He is the father of Poppy.

Season 2[]
In Whiskey Lullaby, Hypnos and his daughter Poppy are captured by The Widows and Tucker Gardner. They demand that he puts the town of Purgatory under a sleeping spell with the threat that they will hurt Poppy if he doesn't. The spell only lasts for about a month when Peacemaker wakes Wynonna Earp who in turn wakes the rest of the gang. They are able to track him to his mansion where Xavier Dolls shoots Hypnos and Wynonna finishes him off reluctantly.
