Megan Halshford is a minor character in Season 1 of Wynonna Earp. She is the first on-screen victim of the Revenant August Hamilton.
Biography[]
At some point in high school Megan began dating Brad, and every Friday she filled Wynonna Earp's locker with entrails sourced from her father's slaughterhouse.
During a party held on the last day of eleventh grade, Megan walked in on Wynonna sleeping with Brad. Megan became hysterical, grabbed Brad's car keys, and left. Not knowing how to drive, Megan accidentally struck and killed Samantha Baker's father and fled the scene. Authorities were unable to identify Megan as the driver and she kept it a secret for many years.

Season 1[]
In The Blade, Megan is visited by the Revenant August Hamilton. Hamilton tells Megan to obtain forgiveness within two hours from those she has wronged, otherwise he will kill her. Megan meets with Samantha, revealing her role in Samantha's father's death. She begs Samantha's forgiveness but Samantha refuses and leaves. Her two hours up, Megan pleads Hamilton for more time. He also refuses and slits her throat, killing her.

Wynonna Earp[]
Megan was (probably not the only) one of Wynonna Earp's bullies in high school. Evidenced by the fact that, at least according to Wynonna, Megan would fill Wynonna's locker with entrails every Friday. Megan picked on Wynonna for any number of reasons, including but not limited to:
- Wearing the wrong clothing
- Having been in juvenile detention centers
- Being the "crazy" girl who killed her own father
Waverly Earp[]
On the flip side, Waverly and Megan seemed to have a friendly relationship, though this may have only been because Waverly was unaware of the bullying Megan inflicted on Wynonna. Waverly expresses disappointment at Megan's death and Wynonna comments that Waverly "didn't know [Megan] like I did".
