Reapers were a dangerous species that were under the control of Margo Clanton or any living Clanton. They were once humans who either died or were tortured into becoming reapers against their will. When Margo marks her target she sends a reaper after the target. The reaper was only called off when their target has died. Only the person marked can see the reaper attacking them.
Physiology[]
Reapers have chalk-like skin that is greying and appears ill. Their faces have black markings on them from the spell work cast by their curser, and their mouths appear black. Their clothes are usually worn and dusty from sleeping in barns until they're awakened by the heir. They move slowly but their speed doesn't matter as they are always drawn to their mark. Each reaper has a red "C" on their forehead - a brand of sorts that shows they belong to the Clanton family.
Abilities[]
- Sensing: Reapers can sense where their marks are no matter how fast they run or where they hide.
- Invisibility: They remain invisible from the ordinary human's eye and are only seen by those who have been marked. Waverly was able to stand inches from a reaper without even knowing it.
- Durability: They can't be killed by man-made objects such as guns, though being shot does slow them down. The reaper who attacked Wynonna was able to survive being shot and stabbed.
- Enhanced Strength: Reapers are much stronger than the average human. Ike was able to break Wynonna's gun, which had been built by BBD, with ease.
Weaknesses[]
- Possession: Nicole Haught was able to possess Billy's body while he was a reaper and she was astral projecting. She was able to control Billy and force him to tell Waverly why she made the deal with Margo. Billy was strong and able to fight her back a few times, but in the end, he was debilitated by Nicole.
